Discuss some aspect of Camp/Culture/Subculture viewing and filmmaking
Paper instructions:
instructions are very similar to the last paper,
prompt:
Discuss some aspect of Camp/Culture/subculture viewing and filmmaking – the concept of camp itself, the issue of “youth culture”, New Queer Cinema and/or African American cinema as “subcultural” forms, etc.
The essay should deal with at least two readings from the course and at least three films, at least one of which is given a sustained analysis occupying about two pages of the essay as a whole.
Goal is to improve writing quality, better develop argument and provide textual support (10 sources in total).
