human socialization, moral orders, plausibility structures in movies

human socialization, moral orders, plausibility structures in movies
Instructions:
Pick one of two groups of four films:
1. Invictus, Up in the Air, Gran Torino, Bella
2. Up in the Air, For Greater Glory, Gran Torino, Juno
3. There will be Blood, Juno, For Greater Glory, Munich
Watch one of these two sets of four films and—using Times New Roman, 12-point font with one inch margins all around (like this document)—I want you to spend three single-spaced pages (and no more than five) addressing several questions about these films:
• How are processes of human socialization (including that from peers, organizations, and institutions) apparent in the films?
• What moral orders are competing with each other? Which seem to prevail?
• What “big stories” or narratives are the characters enacting, and what plausibility structures are operating here?CLICK HERE FOR MORE ON THIS TOPIC
