Individual home assignment: Business Ethics Essay. Students have to collect 2 individual and 3 company-wise cases of ethical wrongdoings/dilemma and make an analysis of each of them based on the following criteria: Short summary, ethical considerations and dilemma for the decision maker, values and interests of stakeholders involved, social norms involved, factors influencing individual and company level behaviour, other options available for action, recommended ethical behaviour and its justification. In addition to the case analysis itself, students are required to read the relevant textbook chapter and also to select an academic journal article relevant to the given business ethics case from a list of recommended articles, and thus integrate the case into a larger context of academic literature on the business ethics topic. The essay should be composed of an introduction (including aims and objectives of the assignment, introduction on type of cases to be analysed), the text body (with a structured paragraphing of each case to be analysed) and a conclusion section (in which students evaluate the type of cases, how the textbook and academic journal articles have widened their perspective on understanding the case itself, and finally comments on individual learning achieved as a result of completing the assignment.).CLICK HERE FOR MORE ON THIS TOPIC
